Job Description

We have two graduate level intern positions available in our Research and Development or Asset Allocation department. Activities will include working on quantitative research projects with associates involved in quantitative factor research, capital markets research, manager research, portfolio construction and analysis, asset allocation and implementation. You will receive material guidance from senior members of the team. Responsibilities include partnering with associates to complete research projects, writing code using best practice development approaches, and automating investment research/analytics through Python and SQL.
Must Have:
  • In-Progress or recent completion of graduate program in Finance, Math, Statistics or Economics.
  • Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on statistical methods.
  • Computer skills should include knowledge of programming (Python and SQL preferred).
  • Ability to work under direction on 2-3 projects simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative investment approaches to investing.
  • Good communication and writing skills and the ability to work with senior members of the team.

Role Summary:

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

  • Partnering with associates from the Research and Development or Asset Allocation team to bring research projects to completion.
  • Writing code for selected projects using best practice development approaches.
  • Investment research/analytics automation through Python and SQL.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

  • In-Progress or recent completion of graduate program in Finance, Math, Statistics or Economics.
  • Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on statistical methods.
  • Computer skills should include knowledge of programming (Python and SQL preferred).
