Graduate Software Systems Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and talented Graduate Software Engineer to join our 3D Printing R&D team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates passionate about software development, innovation, and digital manufacturing technologies. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that power HP’s 3D printing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software components for 3D printing systems.
• Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, coding, testing, and reviews.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues across firmware and host applications.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Support integration of software with hardware systems and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python—used extensively in embedded systems and automation.
• Familiarity with Java or Golang for backend services and tooling.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or web technologies (React, Node.js).
• Exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in 3D printing, digital manufacturing, or embedded systems.
