Job Summary
This internship-to-hire Graphic Designer role at Sleeper involves creating engaging designs for social media ads, web, and digital campaigns, ensuring brand guideline adherence. You will collaborate with the design team on static and animated product assets like icons and tutorial videos, participate in brainstorming, and contribute to brand building through visuals and storytelling. The position is for current students or recent graduates with entry-level experience, offering a chance to innovate within a small, passionate design team.
Must Have
- Create engaging design for social media ads, web and digital campaigns following brand guidelines and creative direction
- Collaborate with design team to create static and animated product assets including icons, modal graphics and tutorial videos
- Participate in project meetings and brainstorming sessions to create new designs and receive feedback from more senior designers
- Participate in building Sleeper’s brand through visuals and storytelling
- Graduation date of Summer 2026 or earlier; or graduates with some entry-level experience
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your passion and design skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/ or some experience in After Effects)
- Knowledge of design principles and social media design best practices
- Good communication skills and a proactive team player
Good to Have
- A degree in graphic design, visual design, motion graphics, illustration or related fields
- Experience with fantasy sports, daily fantasy, sports betting—or just a serious passion for professional sports
- Experience designing with Figma
- Passion for mobile games, movies, or animation in general

Job Location
- Hybrid (2 days): SF Bay Area, Seattle
or
- Remote: California (non-SF), Washington (non-Seattle), Oregon, or PST hours, with willingness to relocate for full-time

For this role in those locations, a reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for new hires is $20 USD to $30 USD per hour. No overtime work allowed, and the internship is 12 weeks.
