Senior Graphic Design Specialist

Semtech's corporate marketing and communications team is seeking an innovative and creative Senior Graphic Design Specialist. This role involves creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the brand message across various platforms. The specialist will collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to design digital and print materials, supporting marketing initiatives and enhancing brand identity. Must Have

• Develop creative concepts and execute design solutions for various projects (marketing materials, social media, website assets, print collateral).
• Design engaging visuals for trade shows, email and social campaigns, ads, brochures, presentations.
• Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain high quality standards.
• Revise designs based on stakeholder feedback.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
• Stay updated with design trends, tools, and best practices.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Atlassian Jira.

Good to Have

• Degree in graphic design, fine arts or related field.
• Experience in B2B tech or a similar technology-driven sector.
• Experience with video production.
• Knowledge of web design principles, HTML, and CSS.

• (25%) Develop creative concepts and execute design solutions for a variety of projects, including marketing materials, social media graphics, website assets, and print collateral.
• (25%) Design engaging visuals for trade shows, email and social campaigns, ads, brochures, presentations, and more.
• (25%) Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain high standards of quality. Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders, making necessary adjustments to meet requirements.
• (25%) Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively. Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of your work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
