Job Description

Wargaming is seeking a Graphic Designer to shape the visual identity of World of Tanks: HEAT. This role involves creating brand assets for marketing, in-game logos, icons, and promotional materials like banners and social media content. The designer will also produce illustrations for both in-game and external promotion. Key responsibilities include developing visual assets, ensuring seamless integration and high quality, contributing creative ideas, collaborating with art and design teams, and efficiently managing tasks to meet deadlines.
Good To Have:
  • Motion design / animation skills
  • Knowledge of UI Art principles
  • Basic understanding of 3D tools to create references or simple assets
Must Have:
  • Create logos, icons, typography, and other elements that reflect the game’s brand identity and aesthetics
  • Design UI assets, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience
  • Produce graphics and illustrations for marketing purposes: social media, web, promo campaigns, videos, and other communication channels
  • Collaborate with the art and design teams to integrate graphic assets into the game, ensuring a consistent visual style
  • Uphold high standards of quality and strive for excellence in every task
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing new ideas and creative solutions
  • Take initiative that drives innovation and supports project development
  • Work with the Team Lead, designers, and other teams to understand the visual goals and objectives of projects
  • Maintain transparent communication that fosters effective teamwork
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks at once while strictly meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrate accountability and proactivity at all stages of work
  • 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the game industry
  • Ability to create high-quality visual assets (logos, icons, typography, layouts, UI elements)
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy
  • Solid knowledge of branding and design principles
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Traditional drawing or illustration skills
  • Good communication skills and fluent English
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design works

What will you do?

  • Visual Asset Development

Create logos, icons, typography, and other elements that reflect the game’s brand identity and aesthetics.

Design UI assets, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.

Produce graphics and illustrations for marketing purposes: social media, web, promo campaigns, videos, and other communication channels.

  • Integration & Quality

Collaborate with the art and design teams to integrate graphic assets into the game, ensuring a consistent visual style.

Uphold high standards of quality and strive for excellence in every task.

  • Creativity & Initiative

Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing new ideas and creative solutions.

Take initiative that drives innovation and supports project development.

  • Collaboration & Communication

Work with the Team Lead, designers, and other teams to understand the visual goals and objectives of projects. Maintain transparent communication that fosters effective teamwork.

  • Work Organization

Efficiently manage multiple tasks at once while strictly meeting deadlines.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the game industry.
  • Ability to create high-quality visual assets (logos, icons, typography, layouts, UI elements).
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Solid knowledge of branding and design principles.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a plus).
  • Traditional drawing or illustration skills.
  • Good communication skills and fluent English.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design works.
