We are looking for a sales profile with experience in the energy sector for our Energy business unit. The Danish electricity system is rapidly developing, leading to complex challenges and exciting projects. You will be part of a professional environment focused on knowledge sharing and good collaboration. Responsibilities include cultivating customer relationships, proactive sales, ensuring efficient sales processes, tender monitoring, team leadership, and contributing to business development.
Must have:
  • Cultivate and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Conduct proactive sales to new and existing clients.
  • Ensure efficient sales processes and procedures.
  • Monitor relevant tender portals for new opportunities.
  • Lead and ensure continuous communication within the sales team.
  • Contribute to departmental business and strategy development.
  • Possess a relevant industry network.
  • Have experience with public tenders.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English at negotiation level.
  • Experience in leading a small team.
  • Be a strong communicator with high personal credibility.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.

Do you want to work with sales in energy and consulting, and would you like to lead a small team in a fast-paced sector? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for!

We are looking for a sales profile with experience in the energy sector for our Energy business unit. The Danish electricity system is rapidly developing, which brings both complex challenges and exciting projects. Our expertise in electricity and supply covers all aspects of electricity production, transmission, and distribution, as well as market analysis in all phases from analysis to programming to operation of the finished plant.

About the tasks

As part of Projects & Project Management, you will be part of a professional environment focused on knowledge sharing and good collaboration.

You will, overall and together with the team, be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with existing customers, in addition to proactive sales towards new as well as existing customers, including:

  • ensuring appropriate business procedures and processes in sales work and within the team
  • ensuring tender monitoring of relevant tender portals
  • leading the team and ensuring continuous communication so that employees are always equipped to perform their work
  • contributing to business development and strategy development/implementation in the department.

Qualifications

Your educational background is not decisive, but if you have an electrical engineering background with experience in sales, or a commercial background with experience in the electrical industry, that is a good starting point.

And we imagine that you will be a good fit for the job if you:

  • have the ability to build long-term customer relationships and can identify new business areas
  • possibly have experience with sales of consulting services
  • have a relevant industry network
  • have experience with public tenders
  • can speak and write Danish and English at negotiation level
  • have experience with or a desire to lead a small team

You are, of course, a strong communicator and easily build relationships and trust with others due to your high personal credibility. Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you have insight into electrical technical solutions within transmission and distribution, but it is not a requirement.

The job will also require travel in connection with customer visits and also to our various offices in Denmark, which is why a driver's license is required.
