Job Description

About Krea

At Krea, we are building next-generation AI creative tools. We’re dedicated to making AI intuitive and controllable for creatives - our mission is to build tools that empower human creativity, not replace it. We believe AI is a new medium that allows us to express ourselves through various formats - text, images, video, sound, and even 3D.

We're building better, smarter, and more controllable tools to harness this medium.

We’ve raised over $83M and are backed by world-class Silicon Valley investors such as Andreesen Horowitz and Bain Capital. We work full-time and in-person at our waterfront office. We care about creativity: our team includes musicians, designers, visual artists, and engineers.

This job:

We’re hiring our first Growth Engineer. Someone technical who enjoys testing ideas, shipping quickly, and figuring out how people use the product. This role is a mix of engineering and product: you’ll build small features, run experiments, look at what’s happening in the funnel, and help us understand what improves activation, retention, and usage.

If you like trying things, measuring them, and adjusting based on what you learn - you’ll fit well here!

What you’ll do:

  • Build the dashboards and instrumentations you need to understand activation, usage, and drop off points.
  • Ship fast experiments across the funnel (A/B tests, onboarding variations, sign-up flows, upgrade prompts).
  • Build and maintain growth surfaces: landing pages, programmatic SEO pages, email triggers, and basic lifecycle messaging.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and engineering to share learnings, align on priorities, and support both self-serve and enterprise growth.

Example experience and skills we’re looking for:

  • You’ve been a software engineer and have experience running experiments across the funnel: signup, onboarding, activation, and upgrade paths.
  • You’re fluent with data: instrumentation, event design, dashboards and A/B test setup.
  • You’re comfortable building growth surfaces - landing pages, SEO, programmatic content, email triggers and simple lifecycle flows.
  • You’re organized, reliable on execution, and able to work independently with fast iteration loops.
  • You’re excited about building the future of creative tools!

What we offer:

  • Openness to sponsoring international candidates (e.g., STEM OPT, OPT, H-1B, O-1, E-3).
  • Work alongside a world-class team building the future of AI creative tooling.
  • Significant scope and company-wide impact.
  • Competitive compensation (75th percentile of market) with meaningful equity.
