This role is for an Associate Staff Engineer in Pharmacovigilance, requiring 5+ years of experience. The position involves daily system administration, user access management, incident support, data validation, and coordination with technical teams for a Pharmacovigilance SaaS platform like HaloPV or Argus Safety.
Must Have
- 5+ years total experience
- Hands-on experience in Pharmacovigilance processes, including ICSR lifecycle
- Strong experience with HaloPV, Argus Safety, or similar Pharmacovigilance SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Working knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL for data validation
- Ability to follow defined procedures in a regulated environment
- Perform daily HaloPV/Argus system administration activities
- Manage user access provisioning, modification, and deactivation
- Provide Level 1 incident and service request support
- Conduct initial issue triage, data validation, and log collection
- Coordinate with internal technical and functional teams for issue escalation and resolution
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, ticket updates, and status reports
- Assist in system validation documentation, audit artifacts, and compliance evidence preparation
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience 5+ years.
- Hands on working experience in Pharmacovigilance processes, including ICSR lifecycle.
- Strong working experience in HaloPV, Argus Safety, or similar Pharmacovigilance SaaS platform.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Working knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL for basic data validation and checks.
- Ability to follow defined procedures and work effectively in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily HaloPV/ Argus system administration activities as per approved Client SOPs and Work Instructions
- Manage user access provisioning, modification, and deactivation in compliance with access control policies
- Support basic workflow and configuration activities under supervision
- Provide Level 1 incident and service request support using the Client ITSM tool
- Conduct initial issue triage, data validation, and log collection
- Coordinate with internal technical and functional teams for issue escalation and resolution
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, ticket updates, and status reports
- Assist in system validation documentation, audit artifacts, and compliance evidence preparation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
