Job Summary
Sampoerna Academy seeks a Head of Student Affairs for AY 26/27 to lead student well-being, career counseling, and character-building programs. The role involves overseeing psychological and career counseling, designing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and implementing character-building initiatives. The Head will also manage student career paths, university applications, and campus-wide events, ensuring a high-quality student life experience aligned with the Academy's STEAM-based, global-focused educational philosophy.
Must Have
- Oversee psychological and career counseling departments.
- Design and coordinate student Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Design and oversee implementation of Character-building programs.
- Oversee student’s well-being programs.
- Follow up on students' career path selections and university applications.
- Develop and market student initiatives and programming.
- Implement and facilitate educational and developmental workshops.
- Provide oversight to campus-wide signature student events.
- Coordinate campus services, programs, resources for student retention.
- Assist students with educational and occupational plans.
- Create and oversee system for course/subject selection.
- Create supporting program for special needs children.
- Create, organize, and assist with CAS projects, Field Trips, and community service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Student Affairs Administration, or Social Studies-related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in counseling, career planning, and character-building programs.
- At least 3 years of Leadership experience in International Schools.
- Excellent people skills.

Job Description
- Oversee psychological and career counseling departments to serve students effectively.
- Design and coordinate student Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Design and oversee implementation of Character-building programs at SA.
- Oversee student’s well-being programs.
- Follow up in details students career path selections, university application and all related programs.
- Develop and market student initiatives and programming that will promote high-quality student life experiences and holistic well-being.
- Implement and facilitate educational and developmental workshops that foster student leadership and professionalism.
- Provide oversight to campus-wide signature student events and programs such as Orientations, Graduations, etc.,
- Coordinate campus services, programs, resources, and other opportunities to aid in the retention of all students.
- Assist the students through developing and evaluating educational and occupational plans based on available data, career interests and choices.
- Create and oversee the system to assist students with course/subject selection, and to evaluate their aptitudes and abilities, or career interests and choices.
- Create supporting program for special needs children.
- Create, organize, and assist with CAS projects, Field Trips, and students community service activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Student Affairs Administration, or Social Studies-related fields; Master’s degree in those areas preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in counseling, career planning, and character-building programs.
- At least 3 years of Leadership experience in International Schools.
- Excellent people skills.

- Travel will be required
