Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for integrating all payroll employees' requests following the established calendar and the forms and codes presented by the payroll area. These requests can include New Hires, Terminations, Vacations, and Housing support loans.
  • Responsible for the overtime report integration and analysis that occurs by the Camera and Editor teams, as well as including days off and holidays, which occur frequently due to the nature of the business.
  • Support, through periodical overtime analysis, the correct control of the number of hours worked and the frequency per employee to avoid a high number of records that impact Mexican Labor regulations.
  • Integrates the information required to execute a new hire or termination by feeding employee personal information to the My HR system. It is responsible for following the checklist and mapping onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensures that employees and their direct relatives' information is shared with WTW (Willis Towers Watson), following the complete process and incorporating them into the Major Insurance Plan. Also, understand and explain the flex benefits programs for the employees to complete new employee enrollment. For terminations overseas, follow up on the employee's deactivation and any additional support needed once the employee leaves the company.
  • Responsible for integrating employee files, soft and hard copies, to ensure completion required for archiving. Also, keep the system updated to avoid differences during the quarterly audits.
  • Periodically monitors the work schedules of the organization's Producers and Correspondents, ensuring that the appendix to their contracts and their payments are legally compliant.
  • Supports OurSurvey (employee survey) plan proposals and follows up with managers to ensure their consistency and execution of action plans in each area.
  • Prepares and analyzes any HR metrics requirement, such as turnover rates, diversity statistics, employee satisfaction, exit surveys, and organizational charts. Respond to routine questions/requests from clients.
  • This position will support all recruitment and performance review cycles from start to end, including managing communications, monitoring the competition, getting results, considering HR conclusions during the kick-off and postmortem sessions, and feeding employee records.
  • Manage the annual profit-sharing payment to ensure it is processed promptly.
  • Capable of replicating support and active communication to remote employees, showing their total inclusion in the activities that occur at the organization.
  • Provides HR administrative support by directly contacting and attending to suppliers, preparing service orders, and managing corresponding payments. This ensures that the area complies with the proper application and disposition of the budget allocated to each event.
  • This position aims to promote the NBCU Mexico workplace culture that aligns with the company's policies and values. The employee must maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the employee's journey at the company that can affect or contradict any company credo.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or Accounting.
  • 5+ years working as an HR generalist, dealing with processes and projects that involve deep numerical analysis, measurements, and action plans or program implementations.
  • Advanced English Skills

  • Ability to manage relationships with leaders, employees, and suppliers.

  • Good understanding of standards oriented towards customer satisfaction.
