The HR Systems (HRIS) Senior Analyst supports on-going business while enabling the strategy and development of HR eco-system with specific focus on USA Payroll and Timekeeping. The HR Systems (HRIS) Senior Analyst partners with Payroll, Timekeeping, Benefits, IT, and HR Leaders to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and controls, and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Senior Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for USA Payroll, Timekeeping, and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Senior Analyst also supports upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Workday USA payroll configuration, maintenance, controls management, interfacing, reporting, and overall module management.
- 8+ years of experience with HR systems such as Workday, HCM, PeopleSoft, Kronos, Oracle, and/or ADP, preferably in a global, multi-tenant environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Substantial experience in system and process supporting Human Resources in core HRM/HR administration, payroll, timekeeping, and/or benefits within a large, complex enterprise, ideally across a range of geographies and segments.
- Knowledge or experience with Workday Timekeeping, ADP, OneSource Virtual, and UKG Workforce Management (WFM).
- Knowledge of HR processes and terminology.
- Experience in systems management and reporting tools, such as MS Access, Excel, MS PowerBI, or the equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
- Experience supporting and implementing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures supporting HR Systems.
- Experience in supporting and leading pieces of large-scale projects and initiatives.
- Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Suite; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel/Sheets and Access.
- Experience with Workday HCM, Security, Business Processes, Configuration, and Integrations. Experience preferred but not required in Workday modules such as Canada Payroll, Global Payrolls, and USA Benefits.
- Must be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels. Excellent communication skills with strong ability to motivate and influence without direct authority.
- Ability to articulate complex systems and processes to a wide array of people with different skills sets and base knowledge. This includes spoken, written, electronic, and presentation skills.

What will your typical day look like?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and continually evolving deep functional and technical experience in support of disciplines across Human Resources with a focus on Payroll.
- Provides insight, recommendations and develop processes and best practices as it relates to the Workday and the HR eco-system.
- Remains current on HR systems’ functionality and actively seeks ways in which to leverage them.
- Responsible for business process development, improvement, configuration, releases, testing, maintenance, and implementation within Workday and other systems.
- Responsible for developing and enhancing strong partnerships/collaboration with departments to gather information and translate that into a business process/system functionality that both aligns with the needs of the business and keeps the end user experience in mind.
- Provides support for our internal department and SMEs as it relates to systems, best practices, processes, access and reporting needs.
- Acts as an administrator for the HRIS systems. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Manages audit and quality control processes for maintaining data integrity and security of HRIS.
- Develops and maintains system documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Answers/responses to escalated questions, requests, education, and errors from the Service Now ticket system and other communication methods in a timely matter.
- Continuously monitor tasks and project assignments to ensure project schedule is being met and schedule and scope changes are addressed.
- Perform a variety of system and process functions such as complex query and report creation, development, problem solving, configuration, testing, prototyping, and escalations with vendors.
- Provide creative solutions and options that enhance the end-user experience while ensuring high data quality, cost-effective, and supportability.
- Participate in establishing implementation plan and milestones for go-live adjusting schedule as necessary which includes ensuring all problems and issues are identified and resolved with procedures and training in place for post go-live support.
- Manage customer expectations through scope control, quality level, cost impacts, resources impact, and timeline considerations.
