This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within a rapidly growing global software consolidator. Banyan Software is seeking a strategic and experienced Director level Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support Operating Partners across multiple portfolio companies both locally and globally.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of People, the HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to Operating Partners, CEOs, and senior leaders. This role is critical in delivering strategic HR solutions that enhance business performance, promote employee engagement, and support scalable organizational growth. The ideal candidate brings a deep global HR background, strong business acumen, and experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a global environment. This position will partner closely with the global HR team on best practices and a wide variety of projects across the HR lifecycle to support our global shared services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders across Banyan Headquarters and Operating Companies to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business strategy and organizational goals.
- Translate business strategy into actionable HR initiatives that impact workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.
- Serve as a credible and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and cultural alignment.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work culture by leading initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall experience.
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with global employment laws and internal policies.
- Support the talent lifecycle, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and development planning.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure equitable, competitive reward practices are in place across regions.
- Support M&A due diligence efforts and lead HR integration activities including change management, organizational design, and communications planning.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory standards in global jurisdictions in partnership with legal and compliance teams.
- Mitigate HR-related risks and uphold high standards of data privacy and confidentiality.
- Actively contribute to HR projects and the evolution of global HR practices, tools, and systems.
Qualifications for Success:
- 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a business partner capacity, preferably in a global or shared services environment.
- Professional HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Strong command of HR disciplines, including compensation, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and international employment law.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple HR functions.
- Adept at navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on discretion, diplomacy, and influence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Deep understanding of confidentiality, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in a global HR context.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems.
