The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for HRIS deliverables, system implementations, improvements, and HR metrics reporting. This role involves providing demonstrations of new functionality, partnering with cross-functional teams, identifying training needs, and proactively identifying new trends and technologies for implementation. The specialist will ensure data accuracy, assist with payroll liaison, maintain project documentation, and resolve employee queries on HR systems.
Must have:
  • Responsible for HRIS deliverables in all key areas
  • Lead projects through the appropriate phases of implementation
  • Provide demonstrations of new functionality, new systems, and prototypes of new solutions
  • Partner with cross functional teams to address operational requirements and compliance
  • Identify training needs, and trains team members as required on Workday, change control process, overall customer experience and service excellence
  • Proactively identify new trends and technologies for possible implementation and make recommendations on replacing or improving existing ineffective systems or processes
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data managed and maintained
  • Provide valuable insights to key partners that will lead to the creation of focus areas and strategies
  • Assist in liaising with Payroll Executives and external vendors on issues reporting in the course of the project
  • Maintain project documentation for future reference and audit requirements
  • Understanding the various HR processes and systems on how they impact each other
  • Ensures timely updates and submission of reports for projects
  • Assist in resolving employee and manager queries on HR systems as a 1st Tier support
  • Assist in change management initiatives or any ad-hoc projects as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Application or HR Management

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in Payroll Implementation for multiple countries
  • Experience in managing diverse group of stakeholders in global organization
  • Operational experience is essential with previous exposure to rapidly scaling businesses and HR functions

Specific Knowledge

  • IT and system savvy. Exposure to use of HR systems like Workday, SAP, TimeSoft is an advantage
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving capabilities to lead fact-based decision making and solutioning
  • Project Management skills
  • Resilient and open to changes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Business Understanding

  • Understanding of business operations and organizational structures
  • Good working knowledge with relevant statutory guidelines in SEA region

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for HRIS deliverables in all key areas e.g. support, systems implementations and improvements, and HR metrics reporting to lead projects through the appropriate phases of implementation
  • Provide demonstrations of new functionality, new systems, and prototypes of new solutions to HR, Leadership Teams, and Business Stakeholders in the region
  • Partner with cross functional teams to address operational requirements and compliance
  • Identify training needs, and trains team members as required on Workday, change control process, overall customer experience and service excellence
  • Proactively identify new trends and technologies for possible implementation and make recommendations on replacing or improving existing ineffective systems or processes
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data managed and maintained. Such robust data management shall be used to provide valuable insights to key partners that will lead to the creation of focus areas and strategies
