Job Description

ABEC, established in 1989 and restructured in 2020, is seeking an HSE Supervisor to ensure compliance with safety policies, conduct routine HSE activities, and provide specialist advice. The role involves accident prevention, fire protection, first aid, and ensuring protective equipment is provided. The supervisor will also participate in 'Tool Box' meetings and assist the HSE Manager with accident analysis and reporting.
Must have:
  • Consistently administer all aspects of accident prevention, fire protection, first aid, and other safety policies.
  • Ensure property, equipment, supplies and material to be used at work sites complies with OCI’s HSE policies and procedures.
  • Ensure routine HSE activities and safety controls are carried out to ensure protection of the life and health of employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment.
  • Participate in weekly ‘Tool Box’ meeting as per plan scheduled by the HSE training unit.
  • Assist the HSE Manager to analyse, report and investigate all accidents and incidents and issue preliminary reports.
  • He has the right/authorities to stop the work, and take the necessary action in case if he found unsafe act/ condition
  • Provide specialist advice and information on HSE to project employees or Managers as required.
  • Participate in implementing the policies and procedures applicable to the Section.
  • Actively engage with, use and leverage from technology and equipment allocated to unit.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 Years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3:5 Years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent Command of Arabic language skills.
  • Good Command of English language skills.
