Job Description

Trend Micro is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for its India team in Mumbai. This role involves aligning people strategies with business objectives, supporting organizational growth, and acting as a trusted advisor and change agent. The HRBP will provide strategic and operational support in workforce planning, talent management, performance enablement, employee engagement, and employee relations, balancing employee needs with business priorities and fostering an inclusive, growth-driven culture.
Must have:
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, exits, job changes, and employment actions.
  • Provide proactive HR support on policies, queries, and employee relations.
  • Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, drive automation, and improve HR operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate HR and business initiatives, employee engagement programs, and organizational development efforts.
  • Support recruitment activities: coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and collaborate with managers.
  • Monitor labour market trends and advise managers on competitive strategies.
  • Leverage HR reporting and analytics to provide insights for decision-making.
  • 3+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong business presence.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, HR analytics, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and balance competing priorities.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Indian employment laws.
  • High integrity, ethics, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our India team. This role will partner with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives and support organizational growth. As a trusted advisor and change agent, the HRBP will deliver both strategic and operational support in workforce planning, talent management, performance enablement, employee engagement, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will balance employee needs with business priorities, influence leaders proactively, and foster the inclusive, growth-driven culture that defines Trend Micro’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, exits, job changes, and employment actions.
  • Provide proactive HR support on policies, queries, and employee relations, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, covering workforce planning, talent management, performance enablement, compensation, and succession planning.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, drive automation, and improve HR operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate HR and business initiatives, employee engagement programs, and organizational development efforts that reinforce company values and culture.
  • Support recruitment activities: coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and collaborate with managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Monitor labour market trends and advise managers on competitive strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Leverage HR reporting and analytics to provide insights that drive better decision-making.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience, preferably in high-tech.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices; familiarity with Indian employment laws preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong business presence.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, HR analytics, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and balance competing priorities.
  • High integrity, ethics, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
