Iron Mountain seeks dedicated Imaging Specialists for document preparation and scanning within DMS Imaging Centers. This role is crucial for achieving conversion objectives, involving sorting and preparing hard copy records, scanning files to electronic images with quality assurance, following production procedures, and completing internal documentation. Candidates need PC proficiency, strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 lbs. This is a full-time, casual role for a 12-18 month project, with potential for overtime.
Must have:
  • Perform document preparation and scanning tasks.
  • Sort and prepare hard copy records for scanning.
  • Scan hardcopy files to electronic images, ensuring quality.
  • Follow production procedures and complete internal documentation & tracking.
  • Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Familiarity with PC and other computer related products.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • Remove staples, sort, file and box records.
  • Maintain record order and sequence.
  • Understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
  • Work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
  • Accept change and long durations of project assignments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for job assignments and their success.
  • Able to reach above head, lift and move files as required.
  • Lift, move, push and pull equipment, cases, metal containers, or boxes in excess of 10-40 lbs frequently.
  • Work overtime or weekends as required by the project.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Rate of Pay: $16.75/hr - paid biweekly
  • 1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Mon. - Fri.
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm, Mon. - Fri.
  • This role is a casual role as the project is 12-18 months.

Key Responsibilities

This role is primarily responsible for performing the document preparation and scanning tasks. These tasks are performed within all DMS Imaging Centers. This role is vital in initiating the imaging process and obtaining our conversion objectives.

  • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation
  • Scan hardcopy files to electronic images. Assuring a quality image
  • Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking
  • Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining clean work environment
  • Other duties, as specified by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer related products.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • The ability to remove staples, sort, file and box records.
  • Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.
  • Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
  • Must be acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • This role is responsible specifically for their job assignments and the success of those assignments.
  • Education / Experience: High School / Less than 2yrs
  • Must be able to work OT or weekends as this project
