At PwC, our cybersecurity professionals protect organizations from cyber threats using advanced technologies and strategies, identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and providing proactive solutions. In threat intelligence and vulnerability management, you will analyze potential threats and manage vulnerabilities to prevent cyber attacks, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring digital infrastructure resilience. We are seeking a professional to join our Cybersecurity and Privacy services team to help clients implement effective cybersecurity programs.
Must have:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/SOC platform management/Automation/Asset Integration/Threat Intel Management/Threat Hunting.
  • Perform round the clock threat monitoring & detection.
  • Analyze suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior.
  • Triage alerts, conduct initial assessment, and validate incidents for severity & urgency.
  • Prioritize security alerts and create Incidents as per SOPs.
  • Report & escalate to stakeholders, and conduct post-incident analysis.
  • Consistently triage incidents & provide recommendations using playbooks.
  • Develop & maintain incident management and incident response policies and procedures.
  • Preserve security alerts and security incidents artefacts for forensic purpose.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs.
  • Reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
  • Hold certifications such as Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
  • Possess product certifications on SOC Security Tools (SIEM/Vulnerability Management/DAM/UBA/SOAR/NBA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Bachelor of Engineering.

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a professional to join our Cybersecurity and Privacy services team, where you will have the opportunity to help clients implement effective cybersecurity programs that protect against threats.

Responsibilities:

  • L1 - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response /Threat Detection Engineering/ Vulnerability Management/ SOC platform management/ Automation/Asset Integration/ Threat Intel Management /Threat Hunting.
  • L2 - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response /Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/ SOC platform management/ Automation/ Asset Integration/ Threat Intel Management/Threat Hunting.
  • Round the clock threat monitoring & detection
  • Analysis of any suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior.
  • Alert triage, Initial assessment, incident validation, its severity & urgency
  • Prioritization of security alerts and creating Incidents as per SOPs.
  • Reporting & escalation to stakeholders
  • Post-incident Analysis
  • Consistent incident triage & recommendations using playbooks.
  • Develop & maintain incident management and incident response policies and procedures.
  • Preservation of security alerts and security incidents artefacts for forensic purpose.
  • Adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs.

Mandatory skill sets:
