Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Inbound Sales Representative to join their team. This role involves answering and qualifying pre-sale inquiries, building and managing a lead development pipeline, and generating prospective customers through cold calling. The representative will interface with customers to build strong relationships, mail marketing literature, and act as a single point of contact. The position requires strong problem-solving, active listening, consultative selling, verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills, along with the ability to utilize internal business tools.
Must have:
  • Answer and qualify customer/client pre-sale inquiries concerning Motorola solutions, products, or services
  • Build and manage lead development pipeline
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Generates prospective customers through cold calling and qualifies leads
  • Tactfully and courteously interface with customers in order to build strong business relationships
  • Mails marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, keeps up-to-date
  • Act as single point of contact

  • Educate customers on respective business processes and procedures- proactively continue to understand products & solutions
  • Demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills when promoting additional products and services

  • Exercise multi-tasking skills when managing multiple systems and applications during customer interaction
  • Utilize internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve the customer’s issues. This involves multi-tasking between systems while interacting with the customer

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proactively utilize strong problem-solving skills in order to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Educate customers on respective business processes and procedures- proactively continue to understand products & solutions
  • Demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills when promoting additional products and services
  • Display strong verbal communication skills through daily customer interaction
  • Exercise multi-tasking skills when managing multiple systems and applications during customer interaction
  • Utilize internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve the customer’s issues. This involves multi-tasking between systems while interacting with the customer
  • This role will have a base of $50,000 per year

Target Base Salary Range: $30,400 - $59,100 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
