Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Analyst - Sales Operations for their Latin America Sales Operations department. This role involves developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts, analyzing performance, and partnering with sales teams. The analyst will proficiently use advanced Excel and Tableau for data management, analysis, and creating automated dashboards. Key responsibilities include providing strategic insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and contributing to sales strategies for the Latin America market.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for SOLA and Chile markets.
  • Analyze sales performance against forecasts, identify key drivers of variance.
  • Partner with sales teams to understand their pipeline, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Proficiently use advanced Excel features to consolidate, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance.
  • Leverage Tableau to create insightful data visualizations and present findings.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and plans for the Latin America market.

Job Description

  • Sales Forecasting & Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for SOLA and Chile markets, utilizing Saleforce, historical data, market trends, and industry insights.
  • Analyze sales performance against forecasts, identify key drivers of variance, and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Partner with sales teams to understand their pipeline, opportunities, and challenges to refine forecast accuracy.
  • Data Management & Analysis:
  • Proficiently use advanced Excel features (including Macros and VB programming) to consolidate, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage Tableau (or similar data visualization tools) to create insightful data visualizations and present findings to leadership.
  • Strategic Insights & Recommendations:
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and plans for the Latin America market.

Basic Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Macros and VB programming), with demonstrated experience in building complex financial models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret data and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Desirable: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
