Requirements and responsibilities

An Informatica MDM Data Engineer designs, develops, and implements Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Informatica platform. This role involves data modeling, integration, quality, and ensuring consistency across enterprise systems. They collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver data-driven solutions.

What you’ll do

• Designing and Developing MDM Solutions: Implementing and configuring Informatica MDM solutions to meet specific business requirements.
• Data Modeling and Mapping: Creating and maintaining data models within the Informatica MDM hub, including data mapping, matching, and hierarchy management.
• Data Integration and Ingestion: Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into the MDM hub.
• Data Quality Management: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and matching using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Collaboration and Communication: Working with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Providing technical support for MDM solutions, including troubleshooting issues and resolving data-related problems.

What you’ll bring

• Informatica MDM: Extensive experience with Informatica MDM Hub, including Data Modeling, Match & Merge, Hierarchy Management, and SIF/REST APIs.
• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ): Strong expertise in data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and matching using IDQ.
• ETL/ELT: Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS CDI, or other ETL tools.
• SQL and Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and practices.
