World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization seeking an Intake and Billing Specialist. This role provides administrative support to the counseling team, including conducting initial client intakes, processing billing claims, and tracking insurance compliance. The specialist will also participate in grant reporting and help maintain organizational systems and protocols. The organization is expanding to meet increasing global needs and seeks individuals passionate about serving vulnerable communities and making a tangible difference. World Relief's mission is to boldly engage in the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church, focusing on humanitarian response, community strengthening, and refugee/immigrant services.
Must have:
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Expertise in billing processes
- Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance
- Highly organized

ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.
This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide administrative support to counseling team including conducting initial intakes, processing billing claims and tracking insurance compliance, and participating in grant reporting.
- Conduct intakes with prospective clients
- Create and update client files
- Participate in appointment scheduling
- Initiate billing claims
- Track insurance contract requirements
- Create and update organizational systems and protocols participating in collection of data for grant reports
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- Expertise in billing processes
- Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance
- Highly organized
- Experience conducting intake calls, trauma-informed training
- Strong soft skills in relational communication
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Ability to create and update systems and protocols

$23 - $25 an hour
