Autodesk is seeking an Intern Software Engineer to join their Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team in Croatia. This role involves working collaboratively on an Agile scrum team, developing and maintaining services for the Fusion Industry Platform, specifically Fusion Bill of Materials, hosted on AWS. Responsibilities include active participation in Agile ceremonies, delivering quality work, planning and estimating tasks, and continuously evaluating system performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility. The intern will also engage in continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Work collaboratively on an Agile scrum team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies
  • Deliver work according to quality standards, industry best practices, and internal policies
  • Work with the team to plan, break down, and estimate work
  • Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systems
  • Practice continuous learning and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/Typescript (Node.js), AWS
  • Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, gRPC
  • Willingness to pick up new programming languages, tools, technologies, and design patterns as needed
  • Passionate, adaptable, flexible, independent, and self-motivated individual who is ready to take initiative and ownership of projects
Good to have:
  • Frontend experience (React)

The services you will be involved with are hosted on AWS infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Are currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/Typescript (Node.js), AWS
  • Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, gRPC
  • Frontend experience (React) is a bonus
  • Willingness to pick up new programming languages, tools, technologies, and design patterns as needed
  • Should be a passionate, adaptable, flexible, independent, and self-motivated individual who is ready to take initiative and ownership of projects
