Thales Avionics, Training & Simulation division, is responsible for designing and producing training tools for civil and military domains:

• flight simulators (plane, helicopter),
• technical training means for combatants (shooting precision, handling weapons and equipment, tactics, ...)

Our objective is to offer training means that meet customer needs, at the best cost and deadlines. Our field is very competitive, calling for innovative solutions, requiring upstream study projects, particularly on electronic, embedded software, and micromechanical subjects.

Within the electronic design office, you will be able to imagine and design software / graphical interfaces allowing to control electronic equipment.

Your missions:

Within the hardware engineering department of Thales AVS Training & Simulation Domain, in Osny, you will be integrated into the young and dynamic team of the Electronic Design Office.

You will develop software for the control, testing, and supervision of electronic equipment, with a User Friendly vision for the end-user.

Your profile:

With a BAC+5 engineering degree, you are looking for a 6-month internship in the field of embedded software.

Required skills:

• Autonomy, Interest in software development, with a sensitivity for electronics.
• C/C++ / Qt (dominant)
• JavaScript / NodeJs / AngularJs (alternative)

We are looking for an intern who is creative and curious, with a strong interest in new technologies.

You are autonomous, capable of learning by yourself, and take initiatives to deepen your knowledge.

You know how to communicate clearly and effectively with the design teams to share objectives, progress, and results obtained.

Finally, you are able to research and collect the necessary information to successfully complete your missions.
