Job Summary
Join the ILG department at Thales' Gennevilliers Campus to work on a fullstack framework (Java and Svelte). This internship focuses on testing, documenting, and improving a network infrastructure and telecommunications network supervision solution already deployed at multiple clients. You will collect and analyze needs, correct and improve user interfaces, demonstrate progress, and write documentation, supported by a multidisciplinary Agile team.
Must Have
- Final year engineering student or equivalent, specializing in IT and networks
- Seeking a 6-month end-of-study internship
- Proficiency in Java (JDK 11/17)
- Comfortable with Python and JavaScript scripting languages
- Solid knowledge of databases, especially PostgreSQL

- Good understanding of client/server architectures (frontend and backend)

Your daily life
The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient infrastructure networks and systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.
You will join the ILG (Management Software Engineering) department to meet the needs of large-scale projects with high stakes for Thales and its clients.
Join the Product team responsible for developing a fullstack framework (mainly Java and Svelte).
The objective of the internship is to test, document, and improve our network infrastructure and telecommunications network supervision solution, already deployed at multiple clients.
The internship will be structured around the following activities:
- Familiarization with the tool
- Collection and analysis of needs and improvement requests
- Correction and improvement of the tool's HMIs
- Demonstration of progress at each functional iteration
- Writing the documentation base
During the internship, you will be supported in the planning and reporting of your activities, as well as for necessary exchanges with various stakeholders (architects, developers, integrators, other project teams…).
Your profile
Are you an engineering student in your final year of an engineering preparatory course or equivalent training, with a specialization in IT and networks, and are you looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship?
You are proficient in Java (JDK 11/17).
You are also comfortable with Python and JavaScript scripting languages.
You have solid knowledge of databases, especially PostgreSQL.
Ideally, you have a good understanding of client/server architectures, both frontend and backend.
Are you curious and have a real appetite for quickly learning new technologies?
Do you know how to work in a team and are you able to listen and share information effectively?
Rigorous and autonomous, you demonstrate organization and method in your assignments, and you know how to analyze and synthesize information to propose relevant solutions?
