This internship focuses on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development within Thales Group's industrial centers. The intern will design, develop, document, and test RPA solutions, including Power BI, to optimize operational processes. Key responsibilities include assisting with trials, deployments, providing user training, and identifying automation improvements. The role involves working with IT and process owners to standardize and deliver successful RPA projects, contributing to Thales' competitiveness.

  • Design, develop, document, and test Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other programming, including Power BI.
  • Assist with trials, pilots, and large-scale deployments of projects transforming operational processes across Thales industrial sites.
  • Provide training and communicate with end-users in support of RPA and automation operations.
  • Analyze process needs, optimize and standardize processes by working with process owners to remove non-value-added tasks before RPA automation.
  • Work with the IT RPA team to successfully deliver projects to users, including change request management.
  • Currently pursuing an Engineering School / Master's degree in IT, seeking a 6-month end-of-study internship.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of .Net, SQL, PowerBI, VBA Macros, Perl, Python or similar programming languages.
  • Comfortable with robotic programming (UiPath Studio and products).
  • Practical experience with .NET programming courses and objects.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the competitive transformation levers that have been defined and must be implemented by each industrial center of the group, taking into account the local context and needs.

In this context, your main missions will be to:

  • Design, develop, document, and test Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other programming, including Power BI.
  • Assist with trials, pilots, and large-scale deployments of projects or initiatives leading to the transformation of operational processes in different industrial sites.
  • In support of RPA and automation operations, provide training and communicate with end-users.
  • Find ways to automate, improve the management of RPA and other automated operational processes. *You may participate in LEAN/Problem Solving activities.*
  • Analyze process needs, optimize and standardize the process by working with the process owner to remove non-value-added tasks before RPA automation.
  • Work with the IT RPA team to successfully deliver projects to users, including change request management.
  • Promote and communicate RPA projects to all GBU/Thales industrial sites.

Your profile:

Currently pursuing an Engineering School / Master's degree with a specialization in IT, you are looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

You have knowledge of .Net, SQL, PowerBI, VBA Macros, Perl, Python or similar programming languages.

You are comfortable with robotic programming (UiPath Studio and products).

You have practical experience with .NET programming courses and objects.

You show an interest in developing RPA solutions, libraries, smart tools, and features.

You demonstrate good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

You know how to work autonomously.
