Job Description
- Experience in a continuous integration environment
- First experience with software development in an industrial setting
- Understand the CDR component and testing environment
- Develop a Java framework for JSON logging and integrate it into existing logs
- Develop a log parser in Python to store information and regenerate readable logs
- Develop a Notepad++ (and/or VSCode) plugin for colorimetry to improve analysis time efficiency
- Develop an Eclipse/IntelliJ plugin for readable error logging during tests
- Test and ensure the sustainability of the developed tool
- Knowledge of Python and Java languages

Your daily life
We provide and support systems for air traffic management and protection. We work with passion in a modern architectural framework, striving to push the boundaries of technology in our key sectors. South of Paris, our site is easily accessible by public transport.
Today, we are one of the major players in the field of air traffic management. THALES's TopSky ATC (Air Traffic Control) systems are used by air traffic controllers worldwide. Within the "Thales LAS FRANCE - Air Mobility Solution" Business Line, you will join the CDR team based in Rungis to develop a tool to facilitate test analysis. The objective of this internship is to develop a tool responsible for facilitating test analysis.
Your missions:
- Understanding the environment of the CDR component and the testing environment.
- Develop a Java framework to log data in JSON format and change current logs to use the framework.
- Develop a log parser to store information in a Python structure and regenerate logs in a more readable format.
- Develop a Notepad++ (and/or VSCode) plugin by adding colorimetry to improve analysis time efficiency.
- Develop an Eclipse/IntelliJ plugin to log errors in a readable format during tests.
- Test the tool and make it sustainable.
Your profile:
You are in your final year of engineering school, university, or equivalent (BAC+5) and are looking for a 6-month internship.
You have the following skills:
- You have knowledge of Python and Java languages.
- You enjoy teamwork and versatility.
- Responsiveness, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills are your strengths.
- You have a good level of English.
- Experience in a "continuous integration" environment would be a plus.
- A first experience with software development in an industrial environment would be a plus.
