Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Manager to lead our IT operations with a strong emphasis on identity and access management (IAM), compliance, and team leadership. This role requires a dynamic leader who possesses a strong technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in managing IT operations and personnel.
Must have:
  • Develop, implement, and manage IAM policies and procedures.
  • Oversee user access controls and authentication processes.
  • Conduct regular user access reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular functional audits and assessments.
  • Ensure regular updates and patch management.
  • Enforce implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on IT strategies.
  • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or system failures.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT services.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identity and Access Management: Develop, implement, and manage IAM policies and procedures. Oversee user access controls and authentication processes to ensure secure access to systems/data and access is granted based on the principle of least privilege. Conduct regular user access reviews to ensure that user permissions are appropriate and up-to-date. Recommend improvements and efficiencies to the existing user access management process across various business apps and infrastructure systems.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001:2022, ITIL). Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Conduct regular functional audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and identify areas for improvement. Ensure regular updates and patch management to protect against vulnerabilities. Enforce implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
  • People Management: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
  • Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of network services.
  • IT Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute IT strategies that align with organizational goals. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or system failures. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Ensuring that the IT vendors meet the defined contractual obligations and performance standards. Negotiate contracts and ensure that services meet organizational needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Service Delivery:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT services, ensuring their efficient and effective delivery to end-users.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and take corrective action to address any performance issues.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery and enhance user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on access management, compliance, and network management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and risk management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
