Job Description

The Assistant Professor at ONE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS will be responsible for delivering lectures, preparing course materials, and evaluating student performance. Key duties include mentoring students in research, advising on professional development, and participating in departmental activities. The role also involves developing curriculum, implementing career-enhancement programs, and fostering an excellent student learning experience, ensuring adherence to university norms and continuous pedagogical innovation.
Must have:
  • Deliver lectures and lessons, prepare course materials, and evaluate student performance.
  • Continuously enrich curriculum learning aims for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects.
  • Advise students and serve as role models for professional and academic development.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional activities, serving on committees.
  • Help in recruitment and mentor new faculty members.
  • Expand professional development, attend conferences and workshops.
  • Collaborate with peers to advance research and teaching objectives.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and mentor students’ academic progress.
  • Create, innovate, and implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
  • Assess, review, and evaluate student activities and progress.
  • Help students secure career opportunities in Finance/Marketing/Operations Management/HRM/General Management.
  • Challenge students' thinking, learning, and understanding of academic disciplines.
  • Develop core curriculum and deliver course material effectively.
  • Utilize tools and technologies to facilitate student understanding.
  • Organize seminars and events to interact with industry professionals.
  • Review methods and teaching materials for improvement recommendations.
  • Deliver sessions on syllabus as per university norms.
  • Manage student discipline and learning experience.
  • Innovate and develop pedagogy.
  • Create excellent student learning experience.
  • Provide reports to university and vertical head as required.

Job Details

Assistant Professor

Qualification: MBA / BBA / MCA / B.SC / PHD(Pursuing)

Experiences: Minimum 3 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Delivering lectures and lessons, preparing course materials, and evaluating students’ performance through exams, assignments, and other assessments. Continuously enrich the deliverables on learning aims of the curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Mentoring: Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects, Advising students and serving as role models to assist in directing their professional and academic development.
  • Service: Participating in departmental and institutional activities, serving on committees, and helping in recruitment and mentor new faculty members
  • Professional Development: Expanding professional development, going to conferences and workshops, and collaborating with peers to advance their research and teaching objectives

. Evaluate, monitor, and mentor students’ academic progress.
