At Bragg, we take security seriously and are looking for an experienced Information Engineer to help drive our cybersecurity roadmap and ensure compliance with industry standards.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in implementing security controls, managing vulnerabilities, and optimizing security infrastructure. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, monitor security threats, and provide expertise on frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, and WLA. If you thrive on proactively securing systems, analyzing risks, and staying ahead of emerging threats, we want to hear from you!

This is a hybrid role based in our Ljubljana office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain security controls across the organization, managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Monitor and analyze security threats by detecting potential security incidents, analyzing system logs, and generating reports on security trends.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Investigate and mitigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and continuous improvement of security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, and WLA, contributing to audits and maintaining security governance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the company’s operations.
  • Deploy and manage security patches and updates across the organization's systems to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on cybersecurity-related matters, assisting internal teams in securing their environments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security threats, evaluate emerging security technologies, and maintain industry certifications.

What you bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise environments with a focus on IT security.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 or similar frameworks (NIST, PCI, WLA).
  • Experience with security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Hands-on experience in threat detection, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and hands-on, with a "can do, get it done" mindset.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage several open issues simultaneously.

Bonus points if:

  • You hold certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
