This Manager role involves leading, coaching, and inspiring teams to deliver quality, identifying business opportunities, and embracing technology. The Global People Technology team focuses on Human Capital technologies, providing optimized tools and personalized experiences. Responsibilities include full-stack development, API design, UI development, cloud services (Azure), database management (Azure SQL), CI/CD, and troubleshooting.
Must have:
  • Develop and support internal web applications in an Agile team.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure .NET 8+ APIs.
  • Develop and implement unit tests with NSubstitute in CI/CD.
  • Build and manage Azure Functions and serverless workflows.
  • Develop modern, responsive UIs using Angular 18.
  • Containerize and orchestrate deployments with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Integrate Redis for caching, session management, and real-time data.
  • Design and manage Azure SQL solutions for transactional workloads.
  • Write optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
  • Improve query performance using Query Store and index tuning.
  • Utilize Azure Service Bus for message queuing and integration.
  • Implement logging and telemetry with Azure Application Insights/Datadog.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and analyze root causes.
  • Participate in architecture decisions and enforce coding standards.
  • Minimum 6 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
  • Strong expertise in Azure SQL performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with Angular 14+.
  • Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container management.
  • Working knowledge of Redis for application performance.
  • Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of application monitoring and structured logging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on an Agile team to develop and support an internal web application used by PwC member firms globally.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable APIs using .NET 8+.

  • Implement and maintain enterprise-grade logging and telemetry using Azure Application Insights and/or Datadog to enable observability, real-time monitoring, custom dashboards, and proactive alerting.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Work with GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise to accelerate software development and improve code quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, address performance bottlenecks, and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Participate in architecture decisions, enforce coding standards, and promote development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
  • Strong expertise in Azure SQL, including performance tuning and scaling strategies.
  • Proficiency with Angular 14+, ideally Angular 18.
  • Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of Redis for caching and application performance.
  • CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of application monitoring, structured logging, and diagnostics using the ILogger pattern.

The salary range for this position is: $110,500 - $212,500. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Additionally, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position.
