Job Summary

Atari India is seeking an experienced IT Systems Specialist to manage and optimize its corporate technology environment. This hybrid role involves administering cloud-based productivity suites like M365/Google Workspace, ensuring seamless end-user productivity, and contributing to engineering efficiency through automation and DevOps practices. The specialist will maintain system integrity, manage user lifecycles, provide Tier-2 technical support, and develop automation scripts to streamline IT and platform workflows, supporting Atari's global operations.

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Operations
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD or Google Workspace administration
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)

Good to Have

  • Experience supporting engineering teams or DevOps workflows
  • Prior exposure to CI/CD tools, GitHub administration, or monitoring platforms
  • Proven ability to document processes and train technical/non-technical users
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Workspace Admin)
  • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on reliability and performance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically precise IT Systems Specialist to take ownership of the operational integrity of our corporate technology environment.

This hybrid role focuses on ensuring seamless end-user productivity through expert administration of modern cloud-based productivity suites (M365 / Google Workspace), while also contributing to internal engineering efficiency through automation and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Systems and Productivity Suite Administration
  • System Integrity: Maintain, secure, and optimize the cloud-based productivity platform (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), ensuring compliance and effective license management.
  • User Lifecycle Management: Manage provisioning, configuration, and de-provisioning across SaaS applications and endpoints (Windows, macOS, mobile) using SSO and MDM tools.
  • Technical Support: Provide Tier-2 level technical support for complex hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining SLA standards.
  • Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Automation and Engineering Support
  • Automation Development: Create automation scripts and tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to eliminate manual processes in IT and platform workflows.
  • DevOps Support: Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Terraform, Ansible) to manage and audit shared cloud infrastructure.
  • Toolchain Governance: Administer access, enforce security policies, and ensure integration stability across platforms like GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  • Monitoring & Triage: Act as the first responder for non-code-related production alerts, perform diagnostics, and escalate with complete incident context to the SRE team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Operations, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD or Google Workspace administration, including advanced governance and security center management.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols — TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting engineering teams or DevOps workflows.
