Job Description

You will join the external IVV testing department for a major Electronic Warfare (EW) product as an IVVQ Engineer with a strong analysis and flight test support component. Your role involves participating in IVV strategy development, preparing tests and operational scenarios, validating the Rafale EW system on Thales or client sites, providing support during flight tests, defining and preparing flight test campaigns, monitoring these campaigns, analyzing acquired data, deploying system operations on export client sites, and supporting industrialization and production.
Must have:
  • Participate in IVV strategy development and contribute to test and operational scenario preparation
  • Participate in the validation of the Rafale EW system on Thales or client sites, and provide support to permanent teams on client sites, especially during flight test phases
  • Define and prepare flight test campaigns for our product integrated with other equipment, with the client and chief engineer
  • Monitor these campaigns, as well as the restitution, processing, and analysis of acquired data
  • Prepare and deploy system operations on export client sites
  • Provide support for industrialization and production
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in testing (preparation, anomaly identification and characterization, resolution monitoring) on client equipment
  • Proficiency in data processing and analysis
  • Mastery of the anomaly management process (from creation to resolution)
  • Ability to synthesize useful information and alert appropriately
  • Excellent relational skills
  • Autonomy, rigor, and initiative
  • Professional English level
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Radar/Electronic Warfare

Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of the most important centers of technological excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.

You will join the external IVV testing department for a major Electronic Warfare (EW) product as an IVVQ Engineer with a strong analysis and flight test support component, specifically to:

  • Participate in the elaboration of the IVV strategy and contribute to the preparation of tests, operational scenarios
  • Participate in coordination with the IS and IVV bench teams, in the validation of the Rafale EW system on Thales or client sites, and provide support to permanent teams on client sites, particularly during the flight test phase
  • Define and prepare, with our client and the chief engineer, the flight test campaigns for our product integrated with other equipment
  • Ensure the monitoring of these campaigns as well as the restitution, processing, and analysis of acquired data
  • Prepare and deploy system operations on export client sites
  • Provide support for industrialization and production

Occasional travel to various test sites in France or abroad will be part of your mission.

Your profile

With an engineering degree or equivalent, you have confirmed experience in testing (preparation, identification and characterization of anomalies, resolution monitoring) on client equipment (minimum 5 years) with a proficiency in data processing and analysis.

You master the anomaly management process (from creation to resolution), and have the ability to synthesize useful information while alerting appropriately.

You are recognized for your excellent relational skills necessary in this type of context, as well as your autonomy, rigor, and initiative. You quickly master your subjects and seek excellence not only for yourself but for the functioning of your organization. You are comfortable training your colleagues and sharing your knowledge.

Knowledge of Radar/Electronic Warfare would be desirable.

Your professional English level allows you to communicate with an export client.
