This role entails leading business development for TiMi Studio Group in the Japanese market, focusing on IP licensing, game co-development, and collaborations. Responsibilities include expanding networks, building strategic partnerships with key industry players, and resolving negotiation bottlenecks. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of entertainment business experience, with a strong background in gaming, deep knowledge of the Japanese market, and proven ability to manage complex strategic projects. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and Japanese, excellent negotiation, and project management skills are essential.

Job Details

What the Role Entails

  • Responsible for business development in the Japanese market for TiMi Studio Group, including but not limited to IP licensing, game co-development, and diverse business work such as game IP collaboration.
  • Expand the local market resource network and industry business opportunities, build and maintain long-term strategic cooperative relationships with key accounts in the Japanese gaming and entertainment industry, and maintain good contact with core management and key decision-makers of partners.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication, promote the resolution of key bottlenecks in business negotiations, and improve cooperation efficiency; explore innovative cooperation models and opportunities with flexible, forward-looking thinking.

Who We Look For

  • Familiar with Japanese IP holders (including major publishers, TV stations, animation production companies, etc.) and game companies, deeply understand their business decision-making chains, and can proactively reach out to key decision-makers and establish good business cooperation relationships.
  • 15+ years of experience in entertainment-related business, with preference for those with 10+ years in the gaming industry; experience in business cooperation with large copyright or game companies and managing partner relationships, capable of comprehensively coordinating high-level strategic relationships, and skilled at handling complex business cooperation issues.
  • Led large-scale business cooperation projects in the gaming industry, such as strategic top-tier IP collaborations, overseas pipeline R&D, etc.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the game industry's development, publishing, and operation processes, deep knowledge of brand, game, and IP development in the Japanese market, and sensitivity to market trends.
  • Proficient in both Chinese and Japanese. Possess excellent business negotiation skills, good project management abilities, and a strong challenging spirit.
