As a Japanese Games Tester at Universally Speaking (US), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of video games before release. Your primary responsibility is to meticulously test games for linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and overall user experience. This includes identifying and reporting bugs using industry-standard bug databases, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring fixes are implemented correctly. You will follow established LQA processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods. You will work across a variety of projects, from indie to AAA titles, and will gain expertise in LQA workflows and techniques. Additional responsibilities include actively participating in test requirement gathering and creating test cases throughout the project lifecycle. Proficiency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential, along with a passion for video games and a keen eye for detail.
Good To Have:- LQA, translation, or proofreading experience
