Job Summary

We are seeking a Jr. Retention Marketer to own the customer lifecycle and drive growth through strategic, data-led retention campaigns. This high-impact role focuses on converting first-time buyers into repeat customers and maximizing customer lifetime value. Responsibilities include designing email/SMS templates, deploying automated campaigns, coordinating creative content, conducting hygiene checks, and analyzing performance for optimization.

Must Have

  • Take full ownership of the customer lifecycle
  • Drive growth through strategic, data-led retention campaigns
  • Design and set up reusable email and SMS templates
  • Plan and deploy automated and one-time campaigns across retention channels
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters for campaign alignment
  • Conduct regular QA checks on templates, flows, and lists
  • Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and suggest improvements
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, and key retention metrics (LTV, churn)
  • Ability to write clear, engaging copy for email and SMS campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Bitspeed, or similar marketing automation tools
  • Comfortable working with campaign data and performance reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with creative and tech teams

Good to Have

  • 1.5+ years of experience in D2C retention or lifecycle marketing
  • Prior exposure to consumer brands or e-commerce environments
  • A detail-oriented approach with a focus on consistency and campaign hygiene

Job Description

We’re seeking a Retention Marketing Junior who can take full ownership of the customer lifecycle and drive growth through strategic, data-led retention campaigns. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for turning first-time buyers into repeat customers and maximizing customer lifetime value.

##### Key Responsibilities

  • Template Creation: Design and set up reusable email and SMS templates that maintain brand consistency.
  • Campaign Creation: Plan and deploy automated and one-time campaigns across retention channels (email, SMS, etc.) to improve repeat purchase rate and engagement.
  • Creative & Copy Coordination: Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure campaigns are aligned with messaging, visual identity, and performance goals.
  • Hygiene Checks: Conduct regular QA checks on templates, flows, and lists to ensure deliverability and compliance with best practices.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and suggest improvements for open rates, click rates, and conversions.

##### Required Skills

  • Basics of Retention Marketing: Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, and key retention metrics (LTV, churn, etc.).
  • Copywriting: Ability to write clear, engaging copy suited for email and SMS campaigns.
  • Technical Tools:
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Bitspeed, or similar marketing automation tools used in D2C brands.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with campaign data and performance reports.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with creative and tech teams.
