WongDoody is seeking a Junior Digital Creative Designer for dm-drogerie markt. The role involves supporting the development and design of digital campaigns, social media assets, and communicative designs. You will actively contribute to brainstorms, content creation, and developing modern, emotional, and brand-compliant designs. Must Have

  • Support development and design of digital campaigns, social media assets, and communicative designs for dm.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorms, social media content, design ideas, and visual concept development.
  • Develop modern, emotional, and brand-compliant designs to visualize the "dm feeling".
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced team (conception, design, account, dm).
  • Implement layouts, prepare formats for various digital channels, and support social and campaign material.
  • Completed education or degree in Graphic, Communication, or Media Design.
  • Approximately 1 year of professional experience in an agency or similar environment.
  • Strong visual sense, passion for design, and high quality standards.
  • Digital mindset, interest in trends, social media, and modern visual languages.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Very good German language skills.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Figma or Sketch.
  • English language skills.

For dm-drogerie markt, Germany's most popular retailer, we have been the digital lead agency since 2010, accompanying the company every step of its transformation from stationary retail to omnichannel. In close collaboration with dm branches in Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe, more than 50 creative minds manage and develop the strategy and e-commerce platforms for dm in these countries, while also handling all other online activities such as social media, CRM, digital branding, campaigns, and content marketing.

What Awaits You

  • You support the development and design of digital campaigns, social media assets, and communicative designs for our client dm.
  • You actively contribute to brainstorms, social media content, design ideas, and the further development of visually strong concepts.
  • You make the "dm feeling" visible by developing modern, emotional, and brand-compliant designs.
  • You work closely with an experienced team – conception, design, account, and dm – and thus get the opportunity to grow quickly and take on responsibility.
  • You implement layouts, prepare formats for various digital channels, and support the implementation of social and campaign material.

What You Bring

  • A completed education or degree in Graphic, Communication, or Media Design (or comparable)
  • Initial professional experience (approx. 1 year) in an agency or similar environment – gladly also through internships or student jobs
  • A strong visual sense, love for design, and high quality standards
  • A digital mindset, interest in trends, social media, and modern visual languages
  • Good knowledge of common design tools like Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma or Sketch are a plus
  • Creative initiative, solution-oriented thinking, and the motivation to contribute and develop further
  • Team spirit, communication skills, and very good German language skills
  • Very good German language skills, English is an advantage.
