Sr Presentation Designer

Onward Search is hiring a Sr Presentation Designer to support a design firm working with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. This fully remote, part-time/project-based role involves designing and refining high-quality PowerPoint presentations for highly technical biotech and pharma content, ensuring scientific accuracy and polished visual storytelling. Occasional project management responsibilities are tied to specific deliverables.

Must Have

• Own and manage assigned presentation projects end-to-end
• Combine deck production with light project management for deliverables
• Design and refine high-quality PowerPoint presentations for technical biotech/pharma content
• Ensure scientific accuracy and polished visual storytelling
• Coordinate with production designers on large decks, delegating slide builds
• Maintain quality, structure, and timelines
• Advanced PowerPoint expertise on PC (templates, themes, master slides)
• Able to troubleshoot cross-platform formatting issues
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator
• Experience in the pharma, healthcare or biotechnology industries
• Freelance, project-based availability with flexibility for fast turnarounds and fluctuating workload

In this position, you’ll join the Marketing team to design and refine high-quality PowerPoint presentations for highly technical biotech and pharma content. This role requires both visual storytelling expertise and the ability to maintain scientific accuracy, with occasional project management responsibilities tied to specific deliverables.

Sr Presentation Designer Responsibilities:

• Own and manage assigned presentation projects end-to-end, combining deck production with light project management for those specific deliverables.

• Coordinate with production designers on large decks—delegating slide builds as needed while keeping quality, structure, and timelines on track.

Sr Presentation Designer Qualifications:

• Advanced PowerPoint expertise on PC, including strong command of templates, themes, and master slides (PPTX/POTX); able to troubleshoot cross-platform formatting issues.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, to recreate/clean complex scientific charts and technical graphics.
• Experience in the pharma, healthcare or biotechnology industries.
• Must be able to take on freelance, project-based availability with flexibility for fast turnarounds and fluctuating workload demands.
