Job Summary

Onward Search is hiring a Product Marketing Manager for a 7-month contract with a global consumer technology company in San Francisco, CA. This hybrid role involves supporting the Revenue Product team with go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and cross-functional launch efforts for advertising and technology solutions. The manager will also gather customer insights, contribute to messaging, and assist in developing internal enablement materials.

Must Have

  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for revenue-focused product verticals.
  • Gather customer and market insights for product development.
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging, and activation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners for product launches.
  • Assist in developing internal enablement materials and sales communication.
  • Monitor GTM performance and support post-launch optimization.
  • Foundational knowledge of digital advertising products and advertiser needs.
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
  • Collaborative team member for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience in product marketing or digital marketing/advertising.
  • Comfortable analyzing data using tools like Looker.

Good to Have

  • Experience supporting GTM efforts for advertising or technology products.
  • Familiarity with advertising measurement tools and major ad platforms.

Job Description

In this role, you’ll support the Revenue Product team with go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and cross-functional launch efforts for advertising and technology solutions.

Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for revenue-focused product verticals, including brand and creative solutions, direct response/app tools, API-based products, and self-serve marketing platforms.
  • Gather customer and market insights to guide product development.
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging, and activation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support product launches.
  • Assist in developing internal enablement materials and sales communication resources.
  • Monitor GTM performance and support post-launch optimization.

Product Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • Foundational knowledge of digital advertising products and advertiser needs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Collaborative team member with experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project execution capabilities.
