Junior Game Programmer

Bohemia Interactive is looking for a passionate and talented Junior Game Programmer to join the team at our studio in Prague, Czech Republic. As a Junior Game Programmer, you will be working on one of our exciting projects. You will be involved in the creation of new features and systems and the maintenance and improvement of existing ones. If you are a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for video games, then we would like to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

• Work closely with senior programmers to implement new features and systems.
• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of existing features and systems.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Debug and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality products.
• Participate in code reviews.

What We Are Looking For:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A strong understanding of C++.
• Experience with game development tools and technologies (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Experience with debugging and profiling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for video games.
• Good English language skills.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with specific game genres.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Lua).
