Larian Studios, an award-winning game developer known for titles like Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel. This role involves supporting senior legal counsels on various legal matters, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and conducting legal research in areas crucial to the gaming industry, such as intellectual property, data protection, and consumer law. The position also requires ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the legal team's knowledge base by tracking industry-specific legal trends. The role includes day-to-day contract management.
Must have:
- Law Degree
- Proficiency in English

Responsibilities
- Work within the legal team to assist and collaborate with senior legal counsels on diverse legal matters.
- Engage in the preparation and review of legal documents
- Conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on areas critical to the gaming industry including intellectual property, data protection, and consumer law.
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other legal formalities relevant to the gaming industry.
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of the legal team’s knowledge base by integrating industry-specific legal trends into practice.
- Day-to-day contract management
Requirements
- Law Degree
- Proficiency in English

- Solid knowledge with a keen interest in fields of law that impact the gaming industry such as intellectual property (IP), data protection, and/or consumer rights.
