Junior WordPress Developer

We are currently looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our Calicut team, working closely with our Dubai-based development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites from scratch — without relying on page builders.
• Customize and extend themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Integrate APIs, dynamic features, and functionalities as per client needs.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless, responsive, and user-friendly websites.
• Ensure websites are optimized for performance, security, and SEO best practices.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing across multiple browsers and devices.
• Stay updated on new WordPress developments, tools, and coding standards.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website development from scratch.
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience in custom theme and plugin development (not theme-based or builder-based projects).
• Knowledge of WooCommerce integration and website optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cPanel, DNS management, and hosting environments.
• Basic understanding of Git or version control tools.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
