Job Description
The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant (Temporary) supports the Campus Kids Ministry. The role involves leadership and care for children in all phases, including developing staff teams and volunteers, ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and values, and creating a strong team culture. Responsibilities include partnering with parents of kids with special needs, overseeing midweek Kids discipleship initiatives, onboarding the Dream Team, fulfilling administrative duties, and assisting in the planning and execution of kids ministry events. The position requires collaboration with various coordinators and attendance at meetings. This is a full-time, temporary position with evening and weekend work.
Must Have:
- Support Kids Ministry with leadership and care.
- Develop staff teams and volunteers.

- Oversee midweek Kids discipleship initiatives.
- Onboard, equip, and schedule the Kids University Dream Team.
- Fulfill administrative duties as requested.
- Assist in the planning and execution of kids ministry events.
The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant (Temporary) supports the Campus Kids Ministry with leadership and care of children in all phases. This is a temporary full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) position, including evenings and reports to the Kids Preschool Coordinator.
JOB DUTIES:
- Supporting the Kids Preschool Coordinator with developing staff teams and volunteers so that they are operating in their strengths and being most effective in their roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
- Ensuring volunteers and staff members align with our mission, vision, and values.
- Creating and maintaining a strong “ALL IN” team culture.
- Partnering with parents of kids with special needs.
- Partnering with Area Coordinators to build relationships with our special needs families.
- Oversee midweek Kids discipleship initiatives including execution of curriculum, small groups, and engaging activities in accordance with Central Kids objectives, philosophy, and processes.
- Onboarding, equipping, and scheduling the Kids University Dream Team.
- Fulfills administrative duties as requested by campus Kids Preschool Coordinator.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of kids ministry events.
- Support the implementation of milestones (i.e. Spiritual Steps).
- Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.
EDUCATION:
- College graduate, or degree in progress.
- Passion to help others discover their purpose and connect in ministry.
- Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
JOB SPECS:
Classification: Temporary Full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) position,including weekends and some nights.
