The Kubernetes microservices engineer will join the Delivery Operations team and be responsible for developing and supporting Wind River’s delivery systems. The initial focus is on learning to support an AWS Kubernetes-based microservices-driven application, and then developing and supporting future versions. This involves collaboration with both internal and external customers. The role requires strong Kubernetes and microservices development skills, as well as some customer support experience.

Job Description:
You will join the Delivery Operations team as a senior engineer, developing and supporting Wind River’s delivery systems. The initial focus will be learning to support an AWS Kubernetes-based microservices-driven application. Once that knowledge transfer is complete, you will develop and support future versions. Support includes working with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Learn and support Kubernetes-based AWS application
Develop and maintain future versions
Participate in infrastructure reviews
The position requires strong Kubernetes and microservices development skills, along with some experience with customer support.
This position will train in alignment with the Western time zone for the first 2-3 months. After this, the position will revert to regular hours.
Must have:
2-3 years Kubernetes administration
2-3 years microservices architecture experience
AWS development (preferred services include EKS, EFS, EC2)
Strongly desired (any of the following):
Kafka administration and use
Nodejs programming
PostgreSQL and SQL experience
Nice to have:
Terraform experience
