Position Objective
The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for performing physical and chemical analyses by applying pharmacopoeial or company-developed and validated analytical methods. They contribute to research activities by ensuring product quality while respecting daily health/safety requirements and regulations. This person has an analytical and practical problem-solving approach while improving analytical methods.

The laboratory analyst will perform the following tasks:
- Extraction of laboratory samples
- Perform physico-chemical and quantitative analyses
- Ensure the quality of collected samples
- Respect and apply established procedures
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement projects in a regulated context
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Science;
- Ideally 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / food / environmental field; We are open to new graduates
- Knowledge of GMP & GLP;
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques (pH meter, Balance, Pipette, UV-Vis, FTIR-IR, Karl Fisher, etc.), chromatography and dissolutions;
- Good knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, ICP (asset);
- Bilingualism in French and English (asset), requires good understanding + written English;
- Knowledge of Empower 3 (asset).
The ideal analyst has the following skills:
- Mastery of techniques specific to physico-chemical and quantitative analyses;
- Excellent knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and good documentation practices (ALCOA);
- High concentration capacity combined with speed of execution;
- Attention to detail and rigor;
- Good stress management and ability to adapt to changes (flexibility);
- Good computer skills (Mastery of Office suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SLIMS, EMPOWER, LABx);
- Concern for health/safety in a laboratory environment.
