Job Description

The Product Manager for Content in Labor Law will be responsible for a wide range of specialized information for practitioners in law, academia, business, and justice. This role involves developing and implementing innovative, target-group-oriented, and media-neutral project concepts for all media forms (online and print products). The manager will coordinate the entire project lifecycle, analyze customer needs, maintain close contact with editors and authors, acquire partners for new projects, conduct contract negotiations, and collaborate with other departments.
Must have:
  • Manage a wide range of specialized information in labor law.
  • Develop target-group-oriented and media-neutral project concepts.
  • Ensure implementation into marketable products.
  • Coordinate the entire project process.
  • Analyze customer needs.
  • Maintain close contact with editors and authors.
  • Acquire partners for new projects and conduct contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with other departments and service areas.
  • Fully qualified lawyer with both state examinations successfully passed.
  • Very good German and good English language skills, written and spoken.
  • Communication and teamwork skills, reliability, and flexibility.
  • Strong language intuition and a sense for logical structures.
  • Sovereignty, skill, and assertiveness in discussions and negotiations.
  • High affinity for online media and a feel for online trends.
  • Interest and motivation for teamwork, including leading project-related teams.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge in labor law.
  • Publishing experience, especially for digital products.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will manage a wide range of specialized information in the field of labor law for practitioners in law, academia, business, and justice.
  • You have innovative ideas and implement them: Within the framework of the corporate strategy, you will develop target-group-oriented and media-neutral project concepts for all media forms (online media on our research platform Wolters Kluwer Online as well as print products - books and journals) and ensure their implementation into marketable products.
  • You will coordinate the entire project process - from development to production to marketing.
  • You will analyze customer needs through regular contact with practitioners on site.
  • You will maintain close contact with editors and authors, acquire partners for new projects, and conduct contract negotiations.
  • You will work closely with other departments and service areas (e.g., Digital Product Management, Operations, and Marketing and Sales).

Your Profile

  • As a fully qualified lawyer, you have successfully completed both state examinations.
  • Ideally, you already have knowledge of labor law.
  • Publishing experience, especially for digital products, is an advantage.
  • You enjoy your work, are performance and results-oriented, and are accustomed to working independently and meticulously.
  • You have a strong sense of language and an eye for logical structures.
  • You demonstrate sovereignty, skill, and assertiveness in discussions and negotiations.
  • You have a high affinity for online media and a feel for online trends.
  • You bring interest and motivation for teamwork, which includes leading project-related teams.
  • Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken, communication and teamwork skills, reliability, and flexibility complete your profile.
