Job Description
Cadence is seeking a Lead Application Engineer for Verification to join their team in Seoul. This role involves collaborating with the Sales team to identify opportunities, manage technical evaluations, and provide customer training and support. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of industry experience in verification and prototyping, with expertise in EDA solutions, simulators, emulators, Linux, and TCL. Strong program management and communication skills are essential for this global role.
Good To Have:
- Hands-on experience on SOC Emulation/Acceleration, Hybrid solution, UVM, Verification IPs or Transactors.
Must Have:
- Work closely with Sales to identify and scope opportunities for Cadence Verification products.
- Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and benchmarks with customers.
- Train, ramp-up, and support customer projects.
- Conduct basic and advanced trainings, presentations, and demos.
- Provide technical expertise to address client queries.
- Align with corporate engineering and sales/marketing on product direction.
- Possess a minimum BS in CS or EE with 6+ years of industry experience.
- Have 6+ years experience in Verification/Prototyping and consumer application design/debugging by EDA solution.
- Be familiar with Simulator (IES, VCS) and emulator/accelerators (PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
- Must have knowledge of Linux and tcl.
- Demonstrate good program/engagement management skill.
- Be an effective team player with good co-worker relationships and willingness to learn.
- Possess good communication skills in English for a global environment.
- Require a current passport with no travel limitations.

- The candidate should possess minimum BS level of CS or EE with 6+ years of industry experience
- Minimun 6+ years experiences in Verification/Prototyping and consumer application design/debugging by EDA solution.
- Hands-on experience on SOC Emulation/Acceleration, Hybrid solution, UVM, Verification IPs or Transactors a big plus
- Familiar with Simulator (IES, VCS, etc) and some experiences of emulator/accelerators (PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
- Knowledge of Linux and tcl is a must
- Good program/engagement management skill
- Effective team player and good relationship with co-workers, willing to learn
- Good communication skills in English and a strong desire for working in a global environment with customers and BU people
