Lead Engineer DevOps

Aptiv is seeking a Lead Engineer DevOps to help shape the future of mobility by creating advanced safety, electrification, and data connectivity solutions. This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure, creating automation scripts, and troubleshooting issues in staging/production environments. The Lead Engineer will collaborate with developers to optimize release processes, define DevOps best practices, drive cost optimization, and conduct root cause analysis of system failures.

Must Have

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and monitor infrastructure in cloud and on-prem.
• Create and improve automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot issues in staging/production environments.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize release processes.
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices across teams.
• Drive infrastructure cost optimization and scaling strategies.
• Conduct root cause analysis of system failures.
• Mandatory experience in python strong scripting skills.
• Docker working knowledge.
• Cloud Basics.
• Experience in Github, Github actions.
• Lead migration and modernization efforts (e.g., monolith to microservices).
• Develop internal tools and frameworks for platform efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation and trainings.
• Collaborate with tests teams to provide tests activities as part of devops loop.
