Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Process and Gas Engineer to design, implement, and optimize gas distribution systems for industrial applications. The role involves working with cryogenic and high-purity gases such as Liquid Nitrogen (LN₂), Gaseous Nitrogen (GN₂), Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), Argon (Ar), and Oxygen (O₂). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in process engineering, safety compliance, and gas handling systems for semiconductor, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
Must Have
- Design, implement, and optimize gas distribution systems for industrial applications.
- Work with cryogenic and high-purity gases (LN₂, GN₂, CO₂, Ar, O₂).
- Review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Size and select equipment for cryogenic and high-pressure gases.
- Ensure proper insulation and vacuum jacketed piping for cryogenic lines.
- Implement automated control systems for gas monitoring and safety interlocks.
- Conduct hazard analysis (HAZOP) and risk assessments for gas systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME, CGA, NFPA, ISO).
- Troubleshoot gas supply issues and optimize consumption.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans for gas systems.
- Lead installation and commissioning of gas systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement and installation.
- Strong knowledge of cryogenic systems and high-purity gas handling.
- Familiarity with vacuum jacketed piping, pressure control, and flow measurement.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, or equivalent).
- 10–15 years in process engineering with focus on industrial gases.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for gas systems.
- Size and select equipment such as vaporizers, pressure regulators, valves, and pipelines for cryogenic and high-pressure gases.
- Ensure proper insulation and vacuum jacketed piping for cryogenic lines.
- Interface with utilities and facility teams for gas supply and distribution.
- Implement automated control systems for gas monitoring and safety interlocks.
- Conduct hazard analysis (HAZOP) and risk assessments for gas systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME, CGA, NFPA, ISO).
- Troubleshoot gas supply issues and optimize consumption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education:

- Familiarity with vacuum jacketed piping, pressure control, and flow measurement.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, or equivalent).
- Experience:
- 10–15 years in process engineering with focus on industrial gases.
- Hands-on experience in semiconductor, chemical, or pharmaceutical facilities preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
