Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a F11 ME WET Shift Equipment Engineer to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, equipment assembly and repair, using diagnostic tools, and performing modifications. The role requires strong technical knowledge in circuits, mechanical systems, and vacuum systems, along with problem-solving, time management, and communication skills for a fast-paced, 12-hour shift environment.
Must Have
- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to plans and manuals
- Use test and diagnostic equipment for checkouts
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electricity fundamentals, and basic electronic components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fix mechanical systems
- Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to use schematic diagrams for system troubleshooting
- Intermediate PC skills, including MS Office Suite
- Understanding of process flow related to area equipment
- Problem-solving skills and efficient task prioritization
- Ability to multi-task complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility with job responsibilities and 12-hour shift assignments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High initiative and good problem-solving skills
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
- Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
- May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Successful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including: fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and fix mechanical systems
- Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to components level
- Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of the process flow related to area equipment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
- Ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environment
- Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Follows procedures and work with minimal supervision
- Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments - Able to perform 12-hour work shift

Education & Experience:
Required: Associates Degree in Electronics, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
