As a Senior Product Manager for the ShareFile product, you will drive the vertical strategy by defining, designing, and delivering comprehensive industry solutions. Responsibilities include defining strategy, discovering and defining work process flows and user journeys, building strategic relationships and integrations, and acting as a customer discovery and definition expert. The role involves market research, roadmap planning, solution design, product optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The goal is to influence the evolution of ShareFile and drive business success, ensuring solutions meet target industry needs.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management.
  • Experience in discovering and defining work process flows.
  • Experience in building strategic relationships and integrations.
  • Excellent product sense and understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience with various validation, feedback, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Solid analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

As a Sr. Product Manager - Industry Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving our vertical strategy by defining, designing, and delivering comprehensive solutions that cover end-to-end industry workflows. You will be responsible for defining strategy on where to focus, discovering and defining work process flows and user journeys, building strategic relationships and integrations, and acting as a customer discovery and definition expert. Your background in product management will enable you to influence the evolution of ShareFile based on solution needs and drive business success.

In this role, you will: 

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the solutions space aligned with the company's goals and market needs. 
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize industry specific solutions, creating a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives. 
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. 
  • Solution Design and Validation: Work closely with customers, UX, engineering, and product marketing teams to gather requirements, translating them into actionable product specifications to drive and validate solution definition.  
  • Product Optimization: Monitor product performance, analyze user data, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product iterations. 
  • Customer Discovery and Definition: Act as an expert in customer discovery and definition, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our target industries and drive business success. 
  • Strategic Relationships and Integrations: Build and maintain strategic relationships and integrations with key partners and stakeholders to enhance our solutions and drive business growth. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, support, documentation, legal, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product launches. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, such as domain leaders, executives, customers, and partners, to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships. 

Your background: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management of B2B SaaS applications, with a focus on industry solutions or verticalization a plus 
  • Proven experience in discovering and defining work process flows and user journeys. 
  • Solid background in building strategic relationships and integrations. 
  • Excellent product sense and understanding of customer needs. 
  • Experience with various validation, feedback, and testing methodologies  
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. 
  • Solid analytical skills and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. 

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: 

  • Experience in client collaboration, project management, or B2B cloud software. 
  • Domain expertise within professional services or highly regulated domains such as finance, legal, or accounting.
